The Health Information and Management Systems Society is one of the premier leaders in the health care industry, especially when it comes to technology. This year, the HIMSS Conference and Exhibition will be held in Orlando, Flor., from Feb. 23 to the 27, and includes an exciting list of keynote speakers, including former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, and burgeoning technology leaders such as SecureKey.

On the third day of the exhibition, Kantara Initiative will be hosting a panel titled the Health Care Trusted Identity Exchange Summit, which will discuss some of the key innovative solutions that have been deployed to help medical organizations overcome novel health IT issues. According to a statement from the Kantara Initiative, more than 35,000 professionals are expected to be in attendance at this summit, which will undoubtedly lead to quality conversations about the modern health care industry.

Speakers will include representatives from DirectTrust, Experian, MedAllies and SecureKey during the Kantara Initiative's panel. Scott Lowry, SecureKey's GM for U.S. Public Sector and Health care, will be leading the discussion with the other panel members, while the subject matter will cover a range of security, accessibility and authentication matters as they relate to the health care sector.

HIMSS14 attendees will be treated to some of the most enriching and engaging conversations between experts in the health care sector, while this year's event will also include an enhanced HIMSS Interoperability Showcase that serves as a collaboration platform for health IT solutions providers.

With all of the recent advances and changes in health care IT, service providers have started to play a major role in the overall effectiveness of patient care and general medical operations. SecureKey is honored to be a part of this event and, specifically the Kantara Initiative panel.
