The U.S. government tries to protect the nation, but can it protect itself?
Hi there, and welcome to the SecureKey blog.
Network World recently reported that officials from the U.S. military have been concerned about data breaches that have taken place in the systems of its defense contractors. Chinese hackers have been found to be wreaking havoc on roughly 80 contractors' systems in recent years, the source affirmed.
These types of attacks generally fall into the category of advanced persistent threats, which are equally as common among multinational enterprises and major financial institutions.
Network World added that the contractors have been found to not be telling the military about the breaches, raising eyebrows even further.
Perhaps it is time for more advanced security technology deployments such as dynamic authentication.
Thanks for checking in and we will see you again next time.
