Companies are now wising up to device security needs, but what about apps?

Researchers at Gartner recently predicted that roughly three-quarters of all mobile applications will not meet basic corporate security demands through the end of 2015. According to the analysts there, this should worry almost all business owners, as these pieces of software that access corporate data and systems will have few protective promises in place.

For some perspective on the gravity of this situation, the researchers pointed out that 90 percent of firms are already using third-party provided applications.

In the coming years, one can only hope that more organizations begin to leverage dynamic authentication solutions that boost protection against breach.
